Frederick George Goodman, miner, of Brithdir, husband of Ethel, father of three daughters (?), enlisted in April 1915, arrived in France September 1915 and served in the South Wales Borderers.

Private F Goodman (19476) was discharged honourably as surplus to military requirements, due to impairment suffered in the service, in January 1919, aged 33, and consequently awarded the Silver War Badge. He is assumed to have later died of wounds.
